Top Bathroom Tile Design

CHEVRON FLOOR

In a New York City toilet designed by Alla Akimova, the drama is really on the floor. Tiles in Vetro Bianco on the walls and the dressing table reflect light beautifully. (The chevron, composed of Dark Emperador and Thassos marble, was custom cut by Manhattan Renovations.)

CEMENT STYLE

Cement flooring tiles select up the gray and "add just the correct amount of pattern," says designer Daleet Spector of an understated bath. "And they're cool and refreshing on bare feet. The area is luxurious but in a really modern, understated manner."

INLAID BATHMATS

The guest bathroom in designer Betty Lou Phillips's French-style Dallas home has been inspired by baths in five-star hotel suites. The Monsieur and Madame "mats" are inlaid mosaics.

BRIGHT BLUE

Adriatic Sea tiles by Fireclay Tile lineup the shower in Justina Blakeney's "Jungalow." The routine -- and trio of niches -- set off a jewel-like mirror.

CHECKERBOARD FLOOR

The shower stall of a California guest bathroom is clad in Carrara marble tiles from Stones Unlimited along with the Soho marble tiles are from Exquisite Surfaces.

BLUE-ON-BLUE

A Nantucket beach house's blue master bathroom gets its airy look from high ceilings and walls painted a pale blue. Designer Frank Roop attracted on the tile flooring with CAD applications on a pc, also it was manufactured by Tile Showcase in 1 piece, like a carpet.
